Solar Mate II lighting kit
Solar Mate is a lighting kit in a box! Where mains quality lighting is needed in remote locations, such as workshops, stables, summer houses, garden offices, garages, sheds etc. Solar Mate is the answer.
Exempt from Part P of the Building regulations, Solar Mate can be easily and safely installed by anyone.
Its solar panel will collect enough energy during the course of the day (even in Britain) to power the included bulb for between 5 and 7 hours every day of the year (5 hours in the winter – 7 hours for the rest for the year).
Solar Mate has a 10 year warranty so it will easily pay back its investment many times.
This kit will illuminate a 32m² area.
Technical Description:
- Supplied with a 10watt crystalline solar panel, roof/wall fixing kit, 2 x 12volt energy saving bulbs, 2 x ceiling/wall bulb holders, wall switch, 7m cable, connectors, fuses and detailed instructions
- Takes around 1 hour to install
- No special tools needed
- A battery is required and is not supplied – a 75 or 85 Ah car/caravan battery is recommended available from most motoring/caravanning shops
- The kit has a 10 year warranty, excluding the bulb
- The bulb has a 3000 hour life cycle
- The solar panel has a 35 year life expectancy
